Black Friday Curated Deals: Corvette C7 355mm Competition Brake Kits
11.14.2025
The latest mid-engine C8 Corvettes may get all the hype these days, but the C7 is no slouch and still has plenty of dedicated fans! The swan song of traditional Vette architecture can be both incredibly fast and extremely tough on brakes due to the front-engine drivetrain layout.
If you're a C7 Stingray or Z51 owner looking to fortify your brakes, we have a particularly sweet deal for you right now during our 2025 Black Friday Sale. For a limited time, we are letting these kits go for 25% off the normal retail prices, saving you $1,300 to $1,500!
Our CP9660 and CP9668 AP Racing by Essex Radi-CAL Competition Kits with 355mm discs offer a well-proven formula to reduce unsprung weight, maximize wheel fitment options, and provide a healthy bump in track durability over stock Corvette brakes. Not to mention, the highly rigid Radi-CAL Pro5000R calipers provide legendary pedal feel, leading to a massive boost in both confidence and consistency in every brake zone. These systems are as close as one can get to the Le Mans-winning AP Racing Radi-CAL systems found on the C7.R.
Below are links to each configuration option:
Wide CP9668 355mm Kit in Electroless Nickel Plated (ENP) Finish
Wide CP9668 355mm Kit in Hard Anodized Gray Finish
CP9660 355mm Kit in Electroless Nickel Plated (ENP) Finish
CP9660 355mm Kit in Hard Anodized Gray Finish
These kits have been incredibly successful for C5 and C6 road racers over the years, including numerous wins in NASA ST2 class and time attack events like Gridlife. As power and weight have escalated on the forced-induction C7 variants, the smaller disc kits have been sometimes overlooked in favor of the 372mm and 390mm options we typically recommend for the Z06 and ZR1. But, for a naturally aspirated C7 Z51 or Stingray, the 355mm kits offer ample thermal mass, fit more wheels, and shave more unsprung weight than the larger disc versions (10-11 lbs. vs. stock brakes).
