Fantastic news for VW Mk8 GTI owners: Essex has officially confirmed that our existing AP Racing Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kits for the Mk7 are a direct bolt-on for the 2022-2024 front-wheel drive models. So if you have an early Mk8 GTI, you can now equip your car with the same motorsport-proven brake systems trusted by track day drivers and racers worldwide!

Key features of our Radi-Cal Competition Brake Kits:

• Upgrade to AP Racing Pro5000R calipers used on the Golf GTI TCR and Audi RS3 LMS race cars
• Larger and thicker 355x32mm 2-piece J Hook Racing Discs with 72 directional cooling vanes
• Save approximately 30 unsprung lbs. from the front axle vs. OE brakes, despite upgrade to larger discs
• Wide CP9668 calipers use 25mm (1 inch) thick endurance racing style brake pads
• Narrow CP9660 calipers maximize wheel fitment options with 18mm thick pads
• Rigid and efficient design ensures a firm pedal, reduced brake fade and vastly more consistent performance at high track temperatures
• Enjoy much quicker and easier brake pad changes with only two bolts, or use the included quick-release clip on the CP9668 kit
• Designed to work with the OE rear brake discs and calipers (Ferodo Racing DS2500 pads available here)
