At Essex Parts, we’re always looking for ways to refine and improve—even when it comes to the smallest details. Today, we’re excited to introduce an updated version of a familiar favorite: the AP Racing CP8350 caliper, now featuring AP Racing logos in black instead of the traditional yellow.

Over the years, we’ve received feedback from drivers running the CP8350 on everything from BMWs, to the Toyobaru twins, to full-race Corvettes, across all sorts of demanding tracks. The original yellow AP Racing logos, while iconic, had a tendency to discolor after repeated heat cycles. Hard use on the circuit, extreme temperatures, and time would often turn that radiant shade of yellow into something… less than ideal. Functionally, nothing changed—but visually, the baby poo brown hue just didn’t reflect the level of performance these calipers deliver.

The move to black logos is simple, but intentional:
