e92 M3 owner finds consistency and longevity in his AP by Essex Radi-CAL Brake Kit!

One of our M3 owners checked in with some feedback after some lapping and is loving how our CP9668/372mm ENP Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kit has improved his day at the track! He also had the chance to experience our system on a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, which we will post about separately.

"They were outstanding. The pedal felt extremely firm all day and I was very impressed with how well they worked with the ABS without any other changes. The only downside... I will have to add wheel rebalancing to my track day prep list! I meant to mark the tires beforehand, but Im pretty sure I spun them on the wheel quite a bit. Very satisfied! We also just did a weekend at COTA in my friend's GT4RS with your brake kit. 3 People in the single car in different sessions. The car did almost 100 laps that day, and the brakes never skipped a beat. He has 3 cars with full front/rear AP Racing by Essex Brake Kits on them."

  • (Front 9668/372mm) - E92 M3 w/ Ferodo DS3.12 Pads + Pad Tension Kit
• If you purchased a complete brake kit, can you please provide the brand, model, size, and offset of the front and rear wheels you’re running (i.e. Volk TE37 18x9 +35)?
  • Fronts only, but they are Apex FL5 18x10 +25
• Your experience level & driving history (e.g.- I have been tracking cars for 10 years with SCCA, etc.)
  • Maybe 20 track days
• How have our brakes changed your driving experience?
  • Much more consistency in braking zones. Having reliable brakes has been the most substantial modification for my lap times.
• Problems that the brake kit solved (e.g.- pad fade, disc cracking, soft pedal, etc.)
  • Soft pedal. Even with PFC 08s, stainless lines, SRF fluid, and ducting, the factory brakes still would overheat after only a few laps on Socal tracks (buttonwillow etc)

• Documentation and ease of install
  • Very easy to install. I wish it included a plug for the car's hard line, rather than just the line coming off of the caliper. Had to work quickly on that part.
• Would you buy it again, and would you recommend it to a friend?
  • Absolutely. There are probably some much more affordable options for casual HPDE drivers like myself, but I was tired of experimenting and knew this was guaranteed to work well beyond my requirements.
• Anything about the product that you think could be improved?
  • The anti-rattle clips require some strength to install! But they aren't required and I didn't find the pad rattle with the original blocks to be too excessive anyway
