What is the cutoff for same day shipping?

If we receive an order for an in-stock item by 2PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday, we will ship it on the same day. If your order is received after 2PM, your order will ship on the next business day. If you’re unsure of availability and need an item in a hurry, please call 704-824-6030 to check inventory status prior to placing your order.

Shipping Costs

How will my order be shipped, and how much will it cost?

Essex uses UPS for all shipments, and we do not ship to PO Boxes. Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of each product. We provide an estimated shipping cost during the online checkout process. Keep in mind that these are only estimates, and the actual amount you are charged could vary slightly depending on a number of factors. Delivery on standard UPS ground shipping ranges from 2-5 depending on your geographical distance from Essex. If you need your order faster, upgraded shipping services such as overnight and 2-day are available.

Do I have to pay tax?

Essex is required by law to charge state sales tax on all items shipping to North Carolina. In other states where we don't collect sales tax, it is the customer's responsibility to assure that all appropriate taxes are paid.

Merchandise Return

All returns must be shipped to Essex via prepaid freight. Prior to returning any goods, Buyer must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from Essex, and it must be clearly displayed on the return shipment. Returned merchandise must be in as-new condition, in original, unopened and undamaged packaging, and available for immediate resale. Credit will not be issued for any product that has been opened, installed, used, or manipulated in any manner. Such items will be returned to Buyer at Buyer's expense. A restocking fee of 15% may be assessed on any returns, solely at the discretion of Essex.
