AP Racing 551 Fluid is a DOT3 fluid suitable for all forms of motorsport as well as road use.
AP Racing 551 Fluid has a higher boiling point than many typical brake fluids intended for road use, but does not have the same performance threshold as the DOT4 fluids in the AP line (PRF or Super 600). It is a good choice for a solid, high-temp fluid if you're on a budget.

AP Racing 551 Fluid conforms to all technical requirements of DOT 3, SAE J1703, F.M.V.S.S. 116, & ISO 4925 specifications, and is suitable for all forms of motorsport as well as road use, AP Racing 551 Fluid has a higher boiling point than many typical brake fluids intended for road use.
Note: AP551 is compatible with magnesium brake and clutch systems.
