NTT IndyCar Series Names AP Racing as Exclusive Clutch Supplier for 2024

As the 2024 NTT IndyCar season heats up, we're excited to announce that AP Racing's carbon/carbon clutches will be featured on each and every IndyCar this year! A longtime supplier to various teams in American open-wheel racing, AP has engineered their latest CP8278 triple-plate clutch to provide all 14 teams with increased wear allowance between re-shims, along with improved clamp and release load characteristics. The ultra-lightweight pull-type design also features a cushion pressure plate system to aid in modulation. To complement the clutch unit, AP is also providing a slave cylinder setup that can be adapted to different configurations, depending on the exact needs of each team and driver.
