Trent Thomasson

Outside Sales

Trent has been involved with motorsports sales and marketing for over 20 years, breaking into the business in1987 as the Marketing Director of Metrolina Speedway in Charlotte, NC.  After garnering some sales and tech support experience with AFCO, he spent four years with ButlerBuilt Motorsports, a manufacturer of custom seats, dry break fuel systems, and oil tanks.  Trent shifted his focus to brake sales in 1994, spending two years with the Performance Friction Corp.  He found his home at Essex in 1996, and has been a critical element of the sales team ever since.

Trent recently completed his first season of Street Stock racing with Watson Racing, and can be found flinging dirt at crazed fans on most Friday nights during the summer.
